Secretary designation in the early '70's. I accomplished most of what I set out to do but would still like to go back to Europe and tour Austria, Switzerland and Italy. Plans are in the works.
My favorite teacher was Betty Turk for English Lit. She taught me to think beyond the surface of the words on the pages and I love her for that. I also liked Sid Burton, Social Science, because he was cute. I was terrified of Miss Ingham, Algebra II, and found it hard to concentrate in her class. My parents never knew I would pick up a group of my girlfriends in their black Oldsmobile and go bushwhacking down Circle Mountain Road. It's a wonder we did not get the wham beat out of us!! It would be really great if some of the old Tri-D's would actually show up at a reunion. It's always been a mystery to me how people who live so close can't make a reunion!! Something I neve thought I would be doing is helping my daughter coach 23 girls in a dance line at Evangel Christian Academy. Actually I do more watching but I love it. What I have learned about life . . . . hmmm. Be gentle with people and the more good choices you make, the more good things come your way.
