Martha Lou Talmage

After a brief spell at OSU, I worked at Phillips for 37 years, 25 as Supervisor of Drafting and Graphics in the International part of the Exploration offices. It was an absolute dream job, perfect in every way! I was able to travel overseas and to the stateside field offices and meet some incredible people.

Now, having been happily married, happily divorced, happily single, and now VERY happily retired, my favorite things are hiking, gardening, entertaining and traveling in my motorhome with friends. A recent long trip (besides a couple of jaunts to the Buffalo River with Rosie French, Armida Villarreal, Marletta & several more) was several weeks to Canada with Sandy (Shattuck) Lee and her husband Charles.

I also try to spend a couple of months in South Texas each winter with my cousin Vernon (who is 20 years our senior, a really close friend and many times- an inspiration!) and enjoying the hospitable weather they rightfully brag about down there.
One cruise is all I have been on, but it was wonderful and I am really ready for the next one!!!

Other activities I have enjoyed include having been nine years on the Bartlesville City Park Board, belonging to the Friends of the Parks and being a Master Gardener. (Don't ask me any questions - I have already forgotten all I learned!)

My graphics background meant that I really enjoyed putting this website together and I am always looking for fun graphics projects to do on the computer! (If any of you look skinnier in the reunion pictures, I may have been busy with Photoshop)
