Carolyn (Stapleton) Riemann
After high school I worked for a year and went to college for 3 semesters. I could not afford to go any longer, so I moved to Tulsa and worked for 5 years. This is where I met my husband, Darrell. We moved to Kansas City, MO for 5 years where our three children were born: Jerome, Chris and Teresa. In 1975 we moved to Springfield, MO where we still reside. Jerome and his wife, Angela now live in Overland Park, KS. He is a Civil Engineer with an MBA in Finance. Chris and his wife, Jen, live in Kansas City, MO where he is a Mechanical Engineer. They have two daughters, Addison (3) and Aubrey (1). Teresa and her husband, Kevin, live in Springfield, MO about 6 blocks from us. They have 2 children, Kalin (7) and Kassie (5). Teresa is a Registered Nurse and works as a PRN.
I was a stay-at-home mother for years and worked later so I could help finance our children's tcollege education. We had 3 in college for a few years. It was very important that they were able to get their education since I was unable to do so. I stopped working just before Teresa became a nurse and have stayed home ever since. Now I am watching Kalin and Kassie a couple of days a week while Teresa works.

My husband retired 3 years ago and we have started traveling seeing numerous places we had never been to before. We drove to Alaska, cruised to Alaska with Jeanne Stockton Reese and her husband, Jim, drove to the Northeast United States, drove to Arizona and New Mexico and cruised to the Panama Canal. In October, we have a cruise scheduled to New Zealand and Australia.
