Bob, born August 20, 1942, was a native of Bartlesville, OK and a resident of Shreveport since 1963. He was a member of the Independent Land Man Association and the Elk's Lodge. He graduated College High School in Bartlesville, attended University of Oklahoma and was an avid OU Sooners Fan. He was very interested in family genealogy and was a cousin of American playwright, William Inge.

Bob was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Inge Sewell, Sr. and Martha Goodloe Sewell; infant brother, William Bent Sewell; Uncle's, Ernest Sewell of Bartlesville and Albert Sewell of Independence, Kansas. He is survived by his three daughters, Becky Burch Slack and husband, Joe, of Nowata, OK, Shirley Moore and husband, Rick, of Barnsdall, OK, and Bobbie Feeler and husband, Keith of Langley, OK; grandchildren, Jessie Burch, Tyler Kay and Meghan Moore, and Kaleb and Spencer Feeler; and sister, Anne Sewell.

Honorary pallbearers will be Bill Johnson and Dan Naremore.
