I am married to my wife, Connie, and we have three children: Jeffrey (43), Mark (40) and Wendy (35). Wendy was adopted from Korea. Connie and I did not want to risk the possibility of a "third" boy.
After graduating from Oklahoma State University with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering, we went to Minneapolis/St. Paul, Minnesota where I was employed with Honeywell making bomb fuses for the Viet Nam war. When the war was over, I went into the process equipment field and worked for several companies. I still consult in that industry. My areas of expertise are in industrial drying, grinding and mixing. My wife, Connie, two sons and I bought a franchise for the state of Texas for collectible sports memorabilia called "Field of Dreams". We have stores in the Dallas Galleria, Houston Galleria and Stonebriar Mall in Frisco, Texas. My wife's son, Mark, and I still are active in the operation of the store.
We have lived in the Twin cities the whole time except for a two year stint in Chicago. I like to
fish, fly radio controlled model airplanes, ride bikes, boat and travel. I may never fully retire.
