Cecil Ray Kimmel
I attended school at Garfield, Jefferson, Central High and College High. I worked sales and construction before entering the Phillips Petroleum workforce in August of 1964. After a lot of very interesting years there, I retired in 1999 with thirty f ive years of service.

My Father owned Kimmel Rexall drug store, and I grew up working there, fixing window displays and sweeping floors with my older brother, Ronald. He is now a retired school teacher and lives in Nolanville, Texas.

My very best times are spent with family and friends.

My oldest son, Tony, and wife Donna have two daughters and three granddaughters. He retired from the Air Force after twenty four years of service, and the are both currently in law enforcement with Lawton's Sheriff's Department.

Son Tony with wife Donna and the daughters when they were young!
My youngest son, Toby, served four years in the Air Force and currently is employed at Tinker Air Force Base. He lives in Moore with his wife and two daughters.
Son Toby, his wife Amy and one of their daughters, Kelsie.
Desta and Me, then and now.
My daughter Desta graduated from Texas A&M, currently lives and works in Houston, Texas and just purchased her first home in 2009.
One of my deer, can you find it on the wall below?

My hobbies are and have always been hunting, fishing and motorcycle riding. For the past 20 years some of my most enjoyable times have been spent at a hunting lodge my close hunting friends and I built on the ranch of the one of hunters. With 1700 acres, a smoke house, meat processing facilities, stocked pond and huge workshop, I probably could be happy staying there year round. But at least there is NOTHING like hunting season!

Cecil R. Kimmel, age 75 and Bartlesville resident, passed away on Thursday, October 5, 2017, at his home.

Cecil Ray Kimmel was born in Bartlesville on April 12, 1942. He was the son of Cecil Robert Kimmel and Margaret Elma (Heaton) Kimmel. He was a life-long resident of the Bartlesville area where he received his education, graduating from College High School in 1960.
