Dennis McGill Goolsbay, 64, died July 19, 1996 at St Mary;s Hospital in Evansville, Indiana, after a five year battle with Lymphoma. Services were July 22 in Evansville with his nephew, the Rev. Michael L. Goolsbay, of Tulsa officiating. |

Mr. Goolsbay was bom April 15, 1942 ln Ochelata to.James J. and Rachel (Moyer) Goolsbay. He graduated in 1960 from the Bartlesville High School and during the summer he worked at REDA Pumps Co. He attended Oklahoma State University, graduating in 1966 with a masters degree in electrical engineering. ln the summer of 1962 he was a foreign exchange engineering student, working with a textile firm in Manchester, England. He was employed by PPG Industries in the Glass Division, spending 15 years with that company ln Caracas, Venezuela, and was with the Research and Development Department of PPG in Evansville at the time of his death.
Mr. Goolsbay was a long time member of the First United Methodist Church in Bartlesville and attained the rank of Eagle Scout while a member of the church scout troop. He belonged Ito the U.S. National and Indiana State Society of Professional Engineers and also of Venezuela. In Evansville he was active for several years in the Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) organization.
Mr. Goolsbay is survived by his wife, Martha, of the home in Evansville; a son, Travis, of Evansville; a daughter, Denise Sanchez; a granddaughter, Venessa Sanchez, of Caracas, Venezuela; his mother, Rachel Goolsbay of Bartlesville; three brothers: James Goolsbay, of Ft. Worth, Texas, Karl Geoffrey Goolsbay, of Tulsa and Kent Goolsbay, of _Sprlngdale, Ark.; five nephews and two nieces. He was preceded ln death by his father, James J. Goolsbay, in July 1995.
