Judy 'Fought' Brown
After graduating from dear old College High in July of 1960 I married the boy I had dated for four years, G.B. Brown. We ultimately had four children, Lance, Brett, Teena, and Jason. Ten years after graduation I decided I needed to have a way to support our children if anything ever happened to my husband so I went to Bartlesville Beauty College. At that time we had three of the kids. GB helped me with the kids when he was home so I could study. He built a shop and we opened it behind our home. That way I could keep the kids at home and work too. This worked about 10 years until after Jason was three and was able to lock me out of the house.
I later became an optician and worked for Dr Grisham and managed the Optical Shop and helped schedule eye surgery. I retired and didn't work for about 6 months. After working for so long I became bored and went back to work for Dr. Williams at the Allergy and Asthma Clinic of Green Country as the Office manager. I am still there.

My most recent involvement is helping my daughter with her new jewelry business (Beadazzled). Her business is out of her home and I take the pictures of her jewelry and design her flyers and mail outs. She sells her jewelry at Prairie Wind here in Bartlesville and a couple stores in Dallas and one in New York. She has open houses and home parties. It is lots of fun. I have always enjoyed design and at last am getting to use my talents.

Our oldest son lives here is Bartlesville, works for the City of Bartlesville and has three children. His wife, Barbara, teaches 3rd grade at Ranch Heights School. It is nice to have at least one of our children close.

Our second son Brett was killed in a car accident at the age of 19. Seems like yesterday.

Our daughter Teena lives in Flower Mound, TX. a suburb of Dallas. She has three children and her husband is a VP for Freeman Design. They decorate for trade shows all over the states and he travels a lot.
Our youngest son is Jason. He is married and has two children. He is in the Army Special Forces and is a Green Beret at Ft. Bragg, NC. His wife is also in the Army and works in the hospital at Ft. Bragg in the Allergy Clinic.

We had the pleasure of getting to keep Jason's little girl while her Mother was in Korea and Dad was in Kosovo. That was a fun time and a lot of work, but worth every minute of it. Now we know why the young have kids. Kayla went back and forth to her two homes and Montessori Academy like a pro. She felt home at both places and adjusted pretty well.

That about brings me to date. Who knows what will come next!
