Thomas Fesperman

Thomas Louis Fesperman, 69, died Wednesday June 22, 2011.

He was born in Tahlequah, OK on April 2, 1942 to Louis and Fernella (Crabtree) Fesperman. He was raised in Bartlesville and graduated from College High in 1960.

Thomas joined the army becoming a Sargeant in the military police stationed at West Point, New York. He was in several campaigns, including the Bay of Pigs. After discharge in 1963 he went to Northeastern College.

He was married to Verda Marie Stockton on July 3, 1967 at Reno, Nevada. He returned to Bartlesville was employed by Reda Pump for several years working in the oil fields as a service engineer.

He traveled to California coming back to Bartlesville to work for National Zinc. When they shut the plant down, he went to work for Public Service Company. When he retired from PSO he became a profesSional bondsman until his stroke took away his ability to work.

Survivors include wife of home, Verda Marie; two sons- Matthew Thomas and Andy Brice; one sister Betty Yvonne Cholakien and niece Stacy Fern Cholakien.

He was preceded in death by his father and mother and one son, Christopher David.
