| Mr. Buck Melvin Cummings, Sr, 60, native Bartlesville resident and retiree of J.C. Commissions, Inc. died at 4:35 p.m. on Saturday in the Jane Phillips Medical Center. Private family final rites for Mr. Cummings will be directed by the Arnold Moore Funeral Service. |

| A native of Bartlesville, Buck Melvin Cummings was born November 2, 1942. He was the son of the late Frank Melvin Cummings and Mrs. Clover Beatrice (Shailer) Cummings. He was reared in Bartlesville and completed his education here. He was graduated from the College High School with the Senior Class of 1961. He and the former Miss Candice Diane (Brumley) Cummings were married on April 14, 1971 in Bartlesville. They have made their home here and Mr. Cummings was retired from J.C. Commissons, Inc. Surviving Mr. Cummings are his wife, Candice D. Cummings, of the home; his mother, Clover Cummings, Bartlesville; two daughters, Dee Cummings and Jennifer Cummings, Bartlesville; his sons, Buck M. Cummings Jr., and Joe Cummings, Bartlesville; his sisters, Glenna Harris, Barbara Truitt and Evelyn McHargue and his brother, John Cummings; eight grandchildren and two aunts, Dorothy Haines and Kate Whittenburg. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a sister, Carol Landers. |
