I am still employed by Nichols Marine on Grand Lake as store manager. This job gives me a demo bass board and fishing contacts. I am still fishing every chance I get and hope to continue this forever. I have accumulated a goodly number of awards and trophies than to this popular sport.

I am married to my wife of 25 years, Cathey. We spend lots of time on the water. She is the manager of a branch of Bank of the Lakes.

My favorite teacher was: Francis Trawick.

The teacher I most feared was: Miss Spencer.

One funny story that I can remember is: On Sunday morning during duck season Bob Cook, Joe Kasparek and I were east of Bartlesville on a private pond full of ducks. Joe and I were sneaking in full crouch when a couple of ducks noticed us because Bob was standing tall. I told him to get down and pulled him towards the ground. Bob then popped straight up and I pulled him down again. Bob was saying something about cactus and stood when the ducks flew away. We went back to the dirt road, bent Bob over the fender of Joe's car and started pulling cactus spines out of his rear. All went fine until a mom, dad and 2 young girls drove by on their way to church. I guess we should have been there also.

Memories include: Troop 10 Boy Scouts and Post 105 Air Explorer Scouts, great times with Burt Sutton and Camp Cherokee, Glenn Winget, the Bartlesville baseball programs from Little League, Pony League and American Legion on through college; great guys like Mike Vaclaw, Harold Winget, Jim Legg, Clark Halderson, Bob Cook, Andy Faust, Delton Cheek, "Beaver" Thornton, Bill McCullough, Bill Turner, Tommy Thompson and all the rest plus lots of hot summer practice and good teams.
