| James O. Chase Jr., 69, of Red Bud, Ill., born on Aug. 8, 1942, in Bartlesville, Okla., died on Saturday, April 28, 2012, at his residence. Mr. Chase was an industrial engineer. He was a member of American Brittany Club and the Bird Dog Hall of Fame. He was a director of the Bird Dog Foundation Inc., and an avid fly fisherman. |

| James was preceded in death by his parents James O. Chase Sr. and Arlene, nee Bales, Chase. Surviving are his sister, Julie Ann (Doug) Wright of Dallas Texas; sister-in-law, Brenda (Earl) Weak of Pleasanton, Calif.; nieces, Jamie Ann (Gary) Bramwell and Valeria (Emily) Weak; nephew, Jeff Wright; and great-nephew, Justin Wright. |
