I graduated from Col-Hi in '60. I attended the University of Kansas and graduated with a Liberal Arts degree in Personnel Management in 1964. I spent '65 and '66 in the U.S. Army Strategic Communications Command in Asmara, Ethiopia. During that time I served as Personnel Director and Company Commander. After the Army I joined IBM in Chicago as a Marketing Representative for the data Processing Division. I achieved my annual quota every year and was a Club Officer in 1979'
I left IBM in 1982 and started an IT Services Company called Pro Source. I helped found the National Association of Computer Consulting Businesses and served as President in its second year of operation. I expanded the company (name changed to Pro-Access) to $10 million in revenue and then sold it to Reliance Insurance Company in 1990. I served as Senior Vice President and Regional Manager of RCG Information Technology till 1997. I started ConsuItants' Choice (another IT Services Company) in September of 1997. I then sold the company to Partners Consulting Services in August 2007.
I married my wife, Shirley, and we will celebrate our 25th anniversary in 2011. I have one son living in Fort Mill, SC and 2 stepchildren living in Houston. My hobbies consist of motor-cycling, cigar smoking and RVing.
