Mrs. Mary Louise Bowman, 69, of Peru, Kansas, died at 11:10 P.M. on Wednesday, December 28, 2011 at the family ranch home at Peru, Kansas.
Funeral services for Mrs. Bowman will be held at 1:00 P.M. Monday, January 2, 2012 in the Stumpff Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Creth D. Hopkins of the Grace Community Church in Pawhuska officiating. Interment will be in the Sunnyside Cemetery at Caney, Kansas directed by the Stumpff Funeral Home & Crematory

.Casket escorts will include Rick Stull, Steve Stull, Brandon Bowman, Tyler Bowman, Brad Thomison and Ace Bowman. Honorary casket escorts will include Jack Bolton and Mike Hubbel.
Mrs. Bowman was born at Dewey, Oklahoma on February 14, 1942 the daughter of Charles A. and Jewel J. (Wren) Bond. She grew up in Dewey and also in California and after returning to this area was employed with Phillips Petroleum Company for eight years as a Seismic Data Technician. She was married to Carl Thomison in Dewey in 1958 and he preceded her in death in a tornado in 1982. She was married to Keith Ivan Davis in 1983 in Las Vegas, Nevada and he preceded her in death on December 22, 1987. She was married to J. B. Bowman on June 22, 1994 at the family ranch at Peru, Kansas. They have been married for 16 years and have made their home there since that time.
Mrs. Bowman is survived by her husband, J.B. Bowman of Peru, Kansas, four children, Christopher Dean Thomison and wife Susan, Scott Quinton Thomison and Billy Joe Thomison and wife Michele, all of Caney, Kansas and Ace Bowman of Pawhuska, Okla., two brothers, George Bond of Indiana and Edward Bond of Dewey, two sisters, Rose Bartlett of Fountain, Colorado and Helen Bolton of Grove, Okla, twelve grandchildren, Kristin Thomison, Gillian Thomison, Brad Thomison, Valerie Thomison, Jenna Ames, Jamie Thomison, Brandon Bowman, Tyler Bowman, Marrisa Bowman, Chad Bowman, Erin Garner and Ian Garner, and four great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents
