Daughter Harriet Maude Luse, born Oct 1883, Married Roy Richard Johnson in 1913.
Harriet died on Feb 24, 1926, 2 hours after Roy, and is buried in the Great Bend Cemetery on Broadway. Maude mailed many leather Postcards to her Uncle Charles Platt's wife Annie, who made a lap quilt from them in 1929 for her daughter Vira to use in rumble seat of her 1929 Ford. |

| Between 1910 and 1020 the Luces corresponded with Annie Martha Platt via leather postcards. In about 1930 when Annie's daughter Vi bought a Ford Model A with an open jump seat, Annie made her a warm lap quilt covered in those postcards.
