| Eli Garner was born Near Huntingdon, Pennsylvania in 1876 and as a young baby came to Kansas with his parents and four older siblings. When he was 26 he married Nellie Irene White who was born in Verona, Illinois and had walked to Oklahoma with her siblings behind a covered wagon driven by her parents. Eli farmed in Kansas and Oklahoma his whole life. | ||||||||||||||||||
